How Custom Orders Work
Because we make custom pieces, we have a specific process to make sure you get exactly what you want.
Step 1: Send Your Idea
Email [email protected] with your vision. Send a photo, a sketch, a detailed description or all three. Tell us if you want a silhouette of your dog's profile, a family name, or a custom geometric design. We love receiving these unique requests!
Step 2: We Design & Approve
Our design team creates a digital preview of your custom bookend for your feedback. We show you exactly how it will look cut in metal and how large it will be. You can request changes as many times as you need until it is absolutely perfect.
Step 3: We Cut & Ship
Once you approve, we move to production. We cut your design from high-grade metal, hand-finish the edges, apply a durable powder coat, and pack it securely. Orders typically ship within 7 to 10 business days. Rush options are available—just ask!

Questions We Hear (And Actually Answer)
Right now, no. We sell and ship exclusively within the United States. We made this choice deliberately so we could focus entirely on getting our American customers the fastest shipping, best pricing and most responsive support. If you are outside the US, our Etsy shop sometimes shows up in international searches, but we cannot complete those orders. We know that is frustrating and we are sorry.
Damaged bookends are rare because we pack carefully, but they do happen. When they do, we replace them. Do not file a claim or jump through hoops. Just email us at [email protected] with a photo and we will ship a replacement immediately. If you ordered through Etsy, you also have their buyer protection to lean on.
Yes. If you receive an order that is not what you expected or if something is genuinely wrong, we will work with you to fix it. We want you to keep bookends you love. Contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will figure out a solution together.
For custom orders, returns are less common because we approve designs together before cutting. But if there is truly a problem, we handle it.
Our bookends are made from high-grade steel with a powder coat that resists scratches and fading. Treated normally, they will outlast the books sitting between them. The non-skid base protects your furniture and keeps everything in place. We have customers with our original designs from 2022 still posting photos on their shelves four years later.

We do. If you need bookends faster than our standard timeline, email us and we will see what we can do. Depending on what you need and how soon you need it, rush fees may apply, but many rush requests are totally doable with no extra charge.
